Webinar Guest Speaker: Dr Al Pinkerton MP  (Lib Dem, Surrey Heath) European Spokesperson

Al Pinkerton was elected to Parliament in 2024 as the MP for Surrey Heath, where he lives with his wife and two sons. Originally from Scotland he was Associate Professor of Geopolitics specialising in international borders and boundary disputes prior to his election and since September 2025 has been the Lib Dem European Spokesperson.
Says Al “At a time when Britain’s place in the world is shifting, our ties with our nearest neighbours matter more than ever. I’ll be working to foster closer social and economic ties with the EU, champion British interests, and ensure our country can thrive as an open, outward-looking nation.”
